These monsters are covered in plague matter, ooze plague, and emit puke-like piles of Blood Plague with each ground attack. One of the best tactics, especially on lower difficulties, where vehicles are plentiful, is to use the back of your car or truck to ram into the Juggernaut.īut on high difficulties, once again, we must consider Blood Plague, in which you’re then dealing with Plague Juggernauts. Or, you can go balls-to-the-wall with melee. You can kite a Bloater and use a firearm to whittle away its health. It’s relatively slow, with lumbering steps, until it charges with wrecking ball-like speed. Since the release of Left 4 Dead in 2008, it seems like every zombie game requires a selection of unique infected, like a tank-class monstrosity as an adversary. When you’re surrounded by a horde of Blood Plague Zombies or, even worse, a Blood Plague Feral, it’s easy to succumb to the fever and leave a survivor on the side of the road. On higher difficulties, like Lethal Zone or Nightmare Zone, Blood Plague proves more deadly than ever. You can return to base, let your survivor rest in an Infirmary, and you’ll be back on your feet in no time. What is Blood Plague? It’s a type of disease contracted in State of Decay 2 that slows down the player and risks incapacitating or killing the survivor, and infection escalates with every consecutive hit. But on higher difficulties, when you add Blood Plague into the mix, you have a recipe for disaster-and a quick death awaiting your favorite survivors. Believe it or not, even the most dangerous zombies in the game do have countertactics that work well!
